Siberian Sunday with a Neva Masquerade kitten...

Masha
This is what happens when you 'crack' for something, or someone, should I say... So here's our beautiful Siberian Neva Masquerade kitten, Masha.

We chose that name because of the Russian ring, obviously, but it also reminded me of a book I treasured as a child, illustrated by a certain Masha.

This picture book featured a Russian witch's cat, the proud Tabinka, that was turned white by a spell that had backfired, and also a lady-like Siamese, born to sit on a cushion... Masha has already found a place on hers and is about to write her story in our lives...
